Sign Up Disabled

Hi Guys,
first off, i love the blumpit, really great idea, exactly what i have been looking for.
A couple of questions:
1. On the login screen the link labeled "New user? Sign up now!" is disabled. Is there some other way i can get an account?
2. Once i'm on the login screen all the buttons in the bar at the top become unresponsive, except the button that closes blumpit(see attached video).

I am using Firefox 3.59 on Ubuntu 9.10 running on an Asus eee T91
